I'm testing a motor setup on SloSyn2000 and when I apply a 1khz frequency on step node and straight +5 volts on direction the motor turns in one direction. How do I simulate low signal for direction to get motor to turn in reverse. Thank you William |

| Doesn't work. I even tried to get voltage down to 2V to mimic low signal on printer port. Is it posible to wire motor wrong so it can rotate one way but no the other. My motor is "#23-205-DS8 285oz-in bipolar rating, 205oz-in unipolar rating. 3v, 3A, 200 S/R, 2.2mH, Size #23, Dual Shaft, 8 wire" from hobby CNC Regards William |

I am not sure what you mean when you say you even tried to get the voltage down to 2 volts. That is not the same as 0 volts or ground. Make sure that you are in fact feeding the pulses in to the "step" pin and not the "dir" pin. Alan
