I have an alternator made by GB Generators of Leicester England. This company is now out of business. The alternator is a brushless self excited type and has a diode/rectifier connected across the rotating field coils in order to supply DC to the rotor coils and generate excitation power. The diode units have disintegrated and I am unable to find a circuit diagram to show me the values of the components and circuit arrangement. All other windings etc are in excellent condition. I would very much appreciate guidance help re' component values and how they are connected.Regards D |
