I understand the reasoning for a NC limit / E-Stop circuit(s). I'm to the stage of mounting limit switches and the most practical way has one limit swtch in the sprung state as the feeler rides along the table. My micro switches have both NC and NO terminals. The circuit would be broken when the feeler came off the table and the contacts open. Is this a bad practice?  |

| Either Normally closed or normally open, held closed, would be the customary way. It sounds like you opted for the normally open - held closed configuration. Al.
