Hi, This seems to be a very basic question but somehow I haven't been able to find the answer here. I just received this power supply and I'm just wondering what to do with the bare wire coming from the AC power cord. I assume the black, white and green wires go to the L, N, and Ground connections respectively Does this bare-wire go to the chassis perhaps? https://www.mpja.com/prodinfo.asp?number=17429+PS Thanks  |

| Could not see anything in the link referring to a a bare wire? Is this a AC cord shield wire by any chance, if so it would normally go to ground. Al.

| The AC cord is just an old computer power cable I had laying around. The cord does have a shielding inside it. And now that I look closer it even says "shielded" printed on it. Does this still sound like a shield wire? If so I'll go ahead and tie it to ground. Thanks for the help, |
