Hi all, is it unadvisable to splice together 2 USB controllers to be able to combine them into one plug? I'm working on a pendant idea but I don't have many USB ports available so I thought this might be an alternative. Just worried about drawing too much voltage and blowing something. Would it be wiser to just add a hub? Powered or not? Thanks, Dave

| Using a hub is the only way to get two devices on the same usb port, it will not work if you just splice them together. powered or not depends on how much current you need, one usb port can deliver max 500mA, a bus powered hub gets it power from one port so it can only deliver 500mA combined on its output ports. |
