dear charles the demagnetization of the job from an electro magnetic chuck is a trick thing. the demagnetization is actually has many variable like
the bottom line is that if the job is hardened, or has high carbon content, then when the job is clamped using an electro magnetic chuck, the job has a tendency to retain magnetism. this means that even if you switch OFF the magnet, the job itself becomes a magnet and clamps to the magnetic chuck (instead of the order way round). we are amongst the largest manufacturer of magnetic chuck in India. our controller http://www.sardamagnets.com/showtable.asp?prodid=136 come with 4 different demagnetization cycle which can be selected according to the job. we assure that after the demagnetization process is complete, the job will come out easily. please feel free to visit our website www.sardamagnets.com to know more about our range of products.
