| My question is what is the best/cost effective solution for controling lathe spindle for threading and constant surface speed cutting? What type of controler would I need? what is the best feed back? what type of braking? I have a small 13x40 lathe I want to convert. at present I have completed a bench top mill to stepper drive, It works great. so I have a small amount of knowlege. Need more input! Help if you can. Thanks, Bob |
