Hi all, I have bought a toroidal transformer rated at 25v + 25v 120va. There are two secondary windings on the transformer. I know that the secondaries are 25-0 25-0 but t I would like to know is, does the 120va apply to each winding, both windings in series or both windings in paralell?? Could anyone clarify this please? Thanks. |

| I think it's for both, and the same for series and parallel. You either get 25V at 4.8 amps, or 50V at 2.4 amps. Both are 120VA.

| Or 2 x 25v at 2.4 each if/when used separately. If you add an overwind on, for say a 5v supply, the current drawn by this has to be taken into account. Al.
