trying to find a hookup / wiring sheet for a Superior Electric PDM 155 [Pacaged Drive Module] ..It's an [appx] 6a biploar stepper driver / translatir module..The Superior site has the PDT500 which uses the same final driver PCB internally, but the PDM155 has a different translator PCB with [of course] a much different set of connectors.. Anybody have one of these or know where a hookup sheet might be obtained.. thanks |

| I have just bought 2 x PDM155 modules (yet to arrive), which are coming with data sheets and schematics. Email me if you are still looking for wiring data. donkiwi@yahoo.com.au Cheers, Don. |

| I spent some time tracing a bit of the input control circuit, and it seems these modules do not readily accept step / direction input pulses... from the layout of the front end [as far as I can tell] it seems these reuire differential phase input signals.. I suppose a person could use a L297 or similar [or even a PIC] to drive these, but it kind of defeats the purpose for me.. Yes, a wiring hookup would be appreciated, at least to 'confirm' or deny my assumptions.. thanks.. |
