    how to calculate RPM for 5phase stepper motor

    i need to run PF569-AC stepper motor using INS50-120 driver, bother r from mycom.

    the motor spec is torque 16.6(kgcm)
    rotor interia 560(gcm2)
    basic step angle 0.72'
    Phase current 1.4A

    can anybody help me how to calculate RPM of this motor?
    coz i want to run the motor by giving pulse from labview software.

    Speed of the stepping motor depend on the step pulse frquency PPS - pulse per second.

    RPM = (revolution/360 degrees) * (StepAngle degrees/step) * (F step/second) * (60 second / minute)

    StepAngle is the .72' / step number that you supplied.

    F is the step frequency in pulses per second.

    If the driver you are using is a half step driver, divide the .72 by two before using it.
