Hey guys, I while ago I read some where that you shouldn't use a voltage regulator on a power supply for stepper motors. Is this true??? I have a really nice power supply that puts out 46.5 Volts DC at 10 amps. The drive that I want to use with this supply is only good for 36 Volts MAX so I need to reduce the voltage by 10 to 15 volts. Is there an easy way to do this? Can I use a voltage regulator circuit with stepper motor drives? Thanks for the help! Dale P. dpynenberg@new.rr.com |
