We have a Sharp LJ64OU32 display on a Brother CNC that has gone bad. Our electronics wiz says that he can "hot wire" in a standard lcd monitor if he has the pin configuration layout for the connector. Can anyone help?? |

| I think you will find this is a display panel, as the display panel has to have a Video controller which is often a separate card or built in to the MB. This is not the same thing as a video controller card for a monitor. What are the symptoms, 'Gone Bad' can mean either the Inverter or the Back light(s) have failed. Check the rear of the display for light up on switch on. These can usually be obtained cheap from DigiKey. or an equivalent. Al.

| The Sharp LJ64OU32 is a 640 by 400 display panel. That is not a standard PC monitor resolution. You might check this company out, they have replacements for the Sharp panel you have. http://www.industrial-monitors.com/s...l-monitors.htm Steve |
