I am building a clean & tidy electronics enclosure to house all the circuit boards and accessories. There are various components that require 5, 12, or 24 volts DC. So I am looking around for smaller DC rated terminal power for 18-26 gauge wire distribution blocks, with screw terminals and two rails power (for positive and ground) so I can screw-in my wires and run them from the blocks. The blocks would need to handle at least 10 power terminals positive and ground, up to 24 volts. I've seen some stuff by Phoenix but the documents and guides are incomplete; making it very confusing to know what blocks, clips, bars, din-rail or whatever else I need to mount it all cleanly the way I need. Can anyone give me some advice, and / or have work with some nice blocks that do the job within reasonable price? -Erich Stein

| There are many suppliers of DIN rail mount terminals, your best economic bet is probably ebay, make sure the terminals are suitable to fit 35mm rail, this is pretty much the standard now, and most makes come in universal fit, but if you use the 35mm rail, it will cover most applications. You can get ground terminal blocks which are handy to tie the shielded cable to, but I still usually carry it through to common earth ground plate. Common makes to look out for for terminal blocks are Weidmuller, Phoenix Contact, Allen-Bradley, Entrelec etc. All of these also have a copper buss link available to connect 2 to 10 terminals as a common block, the link has to be compatible with the terminal width/spacing.
