Where to find a fuse

I managed to blow a fuse on my Sieg X3 mill and I of course lost the extra one they sent allong with it. It is a 10amp 250v GMA and for the life of me I cant find anyone who sells a replacement. Even mouser electronics doesnt carry it.
Any one know who sells them?

if you dont find someone might be a good idea to scan a picture in . if its just a normal glass automotive type fuse. would be easy to help you hunt down.

It is the standard glass automotive type, 20mm long. Try AutoZone or Radio Shack.

I tried radio shack and a local auto parts store.

The problem is the fuse is GMA body style and 250 v. I dont see why I cant use a 125 volt fuse since im only supplying 115v, but the combination of 10amp and 250 volts in this body size just doesnt seem to exsist. I looked at the weblink above and it wasnt there, those were AG3 body styles which is thicker in diameter and longer. I cant understand why Sieg would choose a fuse so uncommon. Even after I replace it I have to figure out why it blew. I have a suspicion it was due to metal dust in the electronics compartment which I used an air blower to clean after the fuse blew. I even tried the fuse from my sieg lathe which blew right away because its 7.5 amps.

try
http://www.digikey.com/scripts/DkSea...S&Cat=31916779
has them
part F166-ND ect.

looks like you got to buy 5 then i think under so much money has a handle fee... alot of money for a fuse haha

but if you have a multimeter and see if its really 120 volts.(allmost 99.9% it will be) then there should be no reason that you need 250. other maybe it was cheaper or they deal with 240 motors, so they just used same fuses they had laying around

Buy me a Beer?

On the subject of voltage rating for fuses, The voltage rating can be at least equal to or greater than the circuit voltage It can be higher, but never lower. The voltage rating determines the ability of the fuse to supress internal arcing that occurs when a fuse link melts and an arc is produced, This is especially important when used on DC.
