My first post, I so not want to offend anyone. I understand the voltage choices, thanks to these post, but how do I choose the amperage the supply should be capable of. My 3 Bipolar motors are rated 3.2v and 2.8amp each, I am thinking 24v supply. Any Ideas |

| It depends on the drives you'll be using. With Geckos, you need 2/3 of the motors rated current per motor times the number of motors. You can go as high as you want, as the drive only draws what it needs. In your case, with Gecko drives, a 6 amp supply would work. I'd go for about 10 amps.
