hi! i'm currently working on building a cnc router - mechanical part is done. now all i need is the controllers. i found a ready-made controller box with paralell port interface, but it only has 6 wires, while my stepper motor has 8. would it still be possible to drive the motor with it? and if yes, how do i connect the wires? thanks in advance PS: i attached the controller and the wireing as it's printed on the stepper motor manual |

| In image2 #2 it shows a jumper connecting B&C and a jumper connecting F&G. These two wires are your coil center taps. So, for the first coil you connect A to one side B&C to the middle and D to the other side for one coil. Then for the second coil you connect E to one side, F&G to the middle and H to the other side. And of course you motor power supply connects to - and +. Alan
