with g32o driver (2 motor on y axis slave also), I like to use mach 3 with a laptop. But it has no parallel port what are my options, grex or
a cheaper solution, i still like to use the laptop if possible?
do i still need a break out board if i use grex?

what are the features of this unit, im guessing no break out broad required?, is it optical protected etc? how does interface with geckos? does it have spindle on off controll?
anyone use them or have feed back?
They are in beta testing right now. It's a USB connection pulse generator, with a 4Mhz step rate. It basically creates two parallel ports and connects to the PC with a usb cable. You would still use one or two breakout boards and plug them into the SmoothStepper parallel port connectors.
