Components For Parallel Port Distribution

I Have 3 Bipolar Stepper Drivers For A Three Axis Machine. In Order To Connect This To My The Parallel Port On A Pc, Im Assuming I Need To Solder A 25 Pin Male Connector To A Blank Pcb And Tie In All Drivers To This One Board. Are There Any Other Components Besides Male Port Connectors, Wire, Circuit Board? Im Trying To Gain The Basic Idea Here. Any Help? Ive Only Got Basic Electrical Understandings. Any Other, Easier Ideas?

Break out boards are sold a number of places. DB25 connector on one end, terminal or solder connections on the other. In some instances logic for kill and home switch's, sometimes opto isolation.

Could use a little help locating components. I have found the 78HC14N at mouser.com but components like the 4030N and the 4013N I can't seem to find. Is there a way to cross reference these number's? Where would be the best place to get these components?

www.digikey.com or www.futurlec.com. Futurelec is usually cheaper, but the parts are shipped from Singapore usually takes at least 2 weeks.

HEY GARY, IF THESE ARE IC CHIPS YOU CAN GO TO FINDCHIPS.COM, TYPE IN THE NUMBER, AND A LIST OF MANUFAC. AND SUPPLIERS SHOULD COME UP. I think they should even have spec sheets. matt

Try adding a CD in front of the number as these are CD4000 series parts.
Also the CD4030 can be replaced with the CD4070 without changing anything including pin numbers.
