Hi, can anyone give me guidance for following? I have sinumerik 840d system. Now with that i want to interface laser distance transducer for automatic offset taking. My transducer gives me serial pulse. so please guide me in detail that how can i fetch and interface that offset distance serially to 840d. And anyone having knowledge about it is invited to work together  |

| More info is needed Output for the transducer - What do you mean by serial pulse? Do you need to measure pulse width or frequency to get the distance? What are the timings? What is the format needed for the sinumerik system? Do you have a protocol specification? Aaron |
