help choosing rugged dual video card | | Hi All,
I'm trying to find a solution to a problem I'm having with a dual video card used on a factory floor. I've been having a problem with the NVIDIA 5200 failing and I think it is a thermal stress problem.
We build high precision automatic industrial gauges that feedback to multiple lathes. Each lathe has its own monitor displaying the results, comp limits, trends... from each part cut on that lathe. We sometimes feedback to 4 lathes and have a display at the gauge, so this means we need two dual video cards plus the on-board video. Most of the cards I'm finding are built for gamers and put out a lot of heat and two of them stuck on the same mother board is probably making things worse. I have also found some military stuff that is $4k-$5k, I don't think so. I was hoping to find something that was built for industrial use. I am also considering adding a cooling system although I haven't investigated this so far.
Anyone experience a similar problem or have any suggestions?
Thanks in advance,
Bob
