Ok gents, I am purchasing a kelinginc.com x2 cnc kit ( http://www.kelinginc.net/Three23XCNCPackage.html ). I will be using all 18g/4 sheilded stranded wire in the box for low voltage. I will be using 14g stranded wire in the box for power lines. My first question is how do i draw out nice colored diagrams? I ask because i want to have a full idea on paper when i do this, and i want to have a schematic for any fixes that may be needed later. Next...I was going to use the limit switch diagram posted by CJL5585, but I wanted to wire in one set of emergency stop switch contacts in that same series. Is that the proper way for the failsafe wiring jerry was talking about? My output pins for the C10 board would be 2 x step 3 x direction 4 y step 5 y direction 6 z step 7 z direction 8 a step 9 a direction inputs would be 10 E stop, x+,x-, y+,y-,z+, z- I would like to also know if I can use the limit switches for x+, y-, and z+ as home switches in mach3? I am really unclear as to if I would have to use pins 11, 12, and 13 for seperate home switches. Any help wold be appreciated. |
