Control box conversion

I have a Spectralight / Light Machines 0400 lathe. I have bought a new driver board and mach 3 software. In the driver board instructions it says max 32v 7amps and minimum 12v 7amps suggested in 24v 7amps. I have removed the original control board and installed new one. The power supply is putting out 12v and 32v but do not know the amperage. There is a rectifier bridge and a 120v relay for the spindle. Can anyone tell me if I can use any of these items or do I need to purchase another power supply and relay board? Sorry if my questions sound stupid but I am just starting out. I also would like to know how the relay works there are 2 large wires 120v in and 120v out. Then there is 2 small wires that were connected to control board red and black. Can I connect these to the db25 break out?

More info needed...
What is the new driver board you have?
What kind of breakout do you have?
The relay wires (red and black) are most likely the coil wires for the relay. The fact they are red and black tends to indicate that the coil is DC. Unless the relay is marked (perhaps right on the coil) the DC voltage required will be an unknown. Unless there are schematics available on the original control box.
