| The electronics are no problem. You buy motors, controller, and a parallel cable to your PC. What exactly is it you are planning? How much torque do you expect this thing will need to make it move? How much do you want to spend? How fast does it need to move? We need more info to help you effectively. Eric

| The speed I would like is about 150 to 200 IPM, that controller that rcrabb mentioned sounds like what I'm looking for (so I do not have to have a pc at each station) as long as it can somehow operate a digital display and have just a forward and backward jog button. Would I be better of using a servo motor with and encoder to insure postion and also a brake so when you slide a sheet of material against the stop it wont move. As far as how much to spend I do not mind spending what it takes to make it right within reason. Thanks for the help |
