driver ?

hey guys, I'm trying to get a test bed CNC plasma cutter going out of an old engraver (about 3' x 3'). It has 2 NEMA 34 steppers (specs of 2.5V dc and 4.6a per phase). Any recommendations on a driver ? We've read all kinds of stuff on the net from this company and that company ... it gets to be confusing after a while. thanks...

well, the budget is as little as possible to do the job well

which model xylotex and and which model hobbycnc ones are you refering to ?

xylotex only have one drive(no other choice). Hobbycnc look for 3amp chop driver.

the xylotex board looks appealing but it couldn't control actuating the plasma cutter like I think some other boards can. is this a big deal to do seperately ?
