    high house voltage

My problem I am having is the voltage coming out of the wall is 120vac, should be 110vac I would think. The controller I am retro-fitting(ajax) says to start with 110vac. What can I do to get the incoming volts under control? This is also my first retro-fit so I am trying to get everything right before I smoke anything.

110vac is nominal number... your 120vac will be fine.

I think you will find the current service now in N.America, at least it is in Canada is 240 and 120.
You still see appliances marked 110v.
