| I am working on ideas for case fans to keep my drivers & power supply happy. I like the idea of using 240V AC fans straight off the mains feed, see diagram.. does anyone think that hooking a few fans onto the main input just before the power supply will cause any problems, spikes etc.. I am hoping the power supply will 'clean' and smooth the power as it converts over to DC? I don't really want to have a transformer of any kind in the case just for fans, so if I use DC fans I guess I would have a second adapted mains input to the case ( not so nice ) Any thoughts would be great.. | These types of AC Fans are very quiet, electrical noise wise. You shouldn't experience any problems with that setup. Al.
