Just obtained a Reichenbacher 210 AM 3 head router built in 1989 with a Siemens Simnuerik 3M control. I was told that the controller was running when stored in warehouse. It has Gigantic Bosch AC Servos and I would like to retain them. My question is- If I retained the servo drives from the controller, could they be connected to a breakout board (C11) via pixie 100s then controlled with Mach 3? BTW, the $2000 price tag was too hard to pass on. This was minus the spindles, which is ok since I plan attach a slower speed spindle for aluminum machining.    |
