PC Based Hardware Controller Kit Needed

I am new to this hobby and would like to build a simple cnc machine. I would though like to purchase the controller as a kit or completed product so I don't have to build it. Is this possible or am I out in left fielf here.

numerous suppliers of the types of kits you need.

A lot of people use the Xylotex stepper drivers on small machines, http://www.xylotex.com .Some also use Geckos, http://www.geckodrive.com . The machine is actually controlled by software, such as TurboCNC, http://www.dakeng.com , or Mach2, http://www.artofcnc.ca
