Hi All, I have bought a speed control for my spindle motor which outputs a 0-10v analouge signal to represent the actuall motor speed based upon taco feedback. Is there any way I can feed this signal into one of my parrallel port break out boards so that mach 3 can make use of it ?

| Hi, I'm working on a similar thing, try this circuit. You may need to play with some of the values but basicly it converts the PWM signal from Mach to a 0-10v out to a VFD. If it needs any corrections please post here or if anyone has a similar idea more than welcome to 'chip' in. Good luck. |

XR4151CP available at Farnell in One. Part number 562-701. Search for part on their website, and download the PDF. This is the lowest cost solution. About A$5 her for the chip.

| Lol so true. Thanks anyway. CNC4PC.com sell what you are trying to produce for a very reasonable price (about $12 i think). I want to be difficult and have it the opposite way round. Ideally looking for an off the shelf solution rather than messing with IC's.
