Source for DC gear motors?

I'm looking for a DC gear motor, at least 500 watts, 50-75 rpm, 12-24v DC.

Not much of a selection from Surplus Center or McMaster. Where else should I be looking? Thanks.

When you start getting specific, you probably have to buy "new" as opposed to surplus.

Try a wheelchair dealer. This is about the size used on wheelchairs/scooters.

You did not mention what your application was, but there are all kinds on ebay among the automotive applications, also auto wrecking yards are a source, depending on what your application is, as generally automotive type motors are not built for precise operations such as servo etc.
