OT dynamic lights

Hi to all,

I need a electronic diagram for a dynamic lights (for Chirstmas). I need to command a bunch of LED's to start up after a pattern. What do I need for that (I know a PIC and some rezisators but...) My question is where I need to look (I link to a site or forum will be very appreciatted).
