Hey chaps, i have finally started reallly amassing parts for a 32x32x8" router table. i might use cheap Clifton $10.00 servos if i can. i got 1, it seems reasonable. just needs encoders.. with an encoder - each clifton is around $50.00 Question: I know about geckos and IMservice drivers.. Geckos cost alot, and IMservice devices dont look so good and dont have lots of power.. Any suggestions on other DC servo drivers? Should I just save my $$ and get Rutex or Gecko? i have NSK rails for X and Y, and thk for Z, etc.. etc.. i will probably use rack and pinion on x,y - and ballscrew on Z.
