I want to build my own power supply, but it seems that there are not that many projects that can produce 60 volts and 20 amps. I have done a search here and at Google, but can't find anything that seems best suited for running steeper motors. I know there are a few simple designs out there, but shouldn't the voltage be regulated and filtered? I have found some good power supply ideas only they are 30 volts and 3 amp designs. I do not want to rewind a transformer, I will buy a tranny with the proper out put voltage. Any ideas? |

All you need is a transformer, bridge rectifier and capacitor. This looks like a good source of transformers. http://stores.ebay.com/Antek-inc
