Electronics Course with a Difference

Came across this while searching the web, An electronics course in Linear, digital ,logic,PID,Ladder-Logic etc, all will some personal philosophy thrown in every other chapter.

I'm not commenting about anyone in particular, but don't confuse intelligence, experience, and knowledge. These are all completely different things and are SOME of the ingredients of EFFECTIVE people.

Its EFFECTIVE that matters and I'm honored to have met so many EFFECTIVE people here on the CNCzone.


BTW: Great find Al, I've enjoyed what I've read of it so far.

John3 must be located East of me so he got there first: Intelligence is what is needed to use knowledge and experience. My knowledge and experience probably extends into areas that your does not and the sum total is greater simply because I am older but that is all that can be said with confidence. And as Al's byline says; imagination comes into the picture also. But I disagree with Einstein; it is not more important it is as important and this also extends to curiosity.

And I was kidding a bit but my electronics knowledge is buried about thirty years deep and just a bit out of date .

Actually I happened to be having a drink with him in a bar one night and asked him what he meant.

That if you are possessed with one or the other, in one instance the other is pretty much bound to be acquired, but not necessarily the reverse.
That knowledge without imagination is not so useful

Ok you guys have proved your points and I agree. I figured Geof was kidding and yes you guys have been around the block a lot more than many of us. That is why so many hang on every word you type.

LOL, I think all of you would agree that Youth is wasted on the Young though.
