I going to be making some PicStep boards and a breakout board. I am shopping on mouser and I found these really cheap pins: http://www.mouser.com/search/product...9-67997-472HLF I chose these because I need like 160 Pins (80 alone for connecting PicStep to breakout board, and a bunch for connecting stuff like potentiometers and LEDs to the board so that it can be seen on the side of my case) and I'm trying to make this as cheap as possible (sub 100 dollars). The problem is I cant find anything that plugs into it (like a cable, connecting 2 sets of pins if you know what I mean). I need: (8) 2 row, 5 pin each row, 10 pin total, can be soldered to ribbon cable A bunch of 2 pin ones (for LEDs and Potentiometers) Also I need a 36v, 8amp power supply, the cheapest I could find was buying a 2 dollar 10 amp bridge on mouser, and then getting (4) 25.2 volt 2 amp transformers at radioshack and connecting them in parallel. I have a coupon so it should be about 32 dollars. If anyone knows of a cheaper solution then please tell me. Thanks in advance! |

| I am not sure what you are looking for as these are standard IDC pattern for ribbon cable, if you need to jumper pins, cannot this be done at the header pin point (The ones you show). 10 pin is a standard IDC size. If you are looking for hardwired type in single various sizes, I have used some molex from Arrow Electronics, there may be other suppliers of Molex out there. M. |
