Hi Just hoping someone may be able to help me out. I have a relay which is controlling my router on/off. This relay is tripping out my control randomly, mostly on turn off but sometimes on turn on. I have tried putting a 1n4004 diode across the coil (24VDC) of the relay, but I still am having troubles. I disconnected the router from the system so there is just the relay, but still troubles. Any thought on what else I can try. Regards Andrew |

| Usually the diode will cure that kind of problem, you appear to have pinned it down to the relay coil itself, so you could try a AC RC snubber (.1µfd in series 330ohm) as well across the coil, although this normally would not be needed, is your 24v supply common connected to the common ground plate? I would guess your Control common is not connected to the 24vdc common? Al.
