I am running on an extremely tight budget for my first project. I have chosen my steppers, Nema23s with 57oz of power. I am trying to find a decent 2-axis driver for them but I haven't had much luck. I am looking between 50 and 60. I saw HCNC had their old 4-axis on clarance for 76 with shipping and their new 3-axis for 86 with shipping, but those are both a little too high. I did see the a100smc for 45 but they aren't available any longer. |

| A 57oz stepper shouldn't require an expensive driver. Check out some of my favorite surplus electronics sites. I'll wager that you'll find a compatible stepper driver for less than 25 bucks. http://www.alltronics.com/ http://www.allelectronics.com/ http://www.goldmine-elec-products.com/departments.asp http://www.bgmicro.com/shop.asp |
