| I have built several this way: http://www.cnczone.com/modules.php?n...warticle&id=27 You can scrounge used microwaves easy and the wire is not hard to find. The hardest part is getting the HV winding out. Just takes a little time. Then you can make the voltage anything you want!

| You can also use two low cost transformers and series a 24vac secondary with a 12vac secondary. They need to be in phase. Or you can do it on the DC side (after rectification). Doing it on the DC side costs and extra bridge rectifier, but it also give you a volt and a half lower voltage so if you're approacing the limits of your driver the lower voltage maybe the trick. If your 10A or less this transformer is a good low cost transformer: http://www.mpja.com/productview.asp?product=7846+TR If your current is less: http://www.mpja.com/productview.asp?product=7845+TR
