What are these??

I have three units that I think are encoders/ controllers.

The part numbers crudly marked on the front are.

ENC 5V E 424010301
ENC 5V E 419020404
ENC 5V E 428060202

doing some googligng

ENC = Some kind of enconder, quadruature,

5V = 5V

E = ?

9 digit number = serieal number?

I have tried the google approach with out any resolve.

My instinct tell me they are a isolated DC supply for rotary encoders ie converting say 50V to 5V to run the encoders.

Any other ideas?

They are probabally made by one of the major termination manuf.

I would guess some sort of high/low 5V line driver or input = output encoder/recoder.

Is that thing mounted on a heatsink a 5V regulator?

It might also have been used to convert TTL level stuff to relay level stuff or limilar.
The LEDs are probebly there for troubleshooting.

I have no idea. Just guessing here.
