I have an older motor(GE 1/12hp 110v 1 phase with a boston gear reducer). I have checked the GE site and the Boston Gear site but the model #s are not listed. Is there a site that identifies these? The motor has 4 leads;are 2 leads for forward and reverse? The reducer faceplate has an input rpm of 1750, but no output rpm. Where can I details? --- thanks .... joe |

| Did you want to run it in reverse also? Check with a meter for a pair that has continuity, the other pair should show open circuit. Connect each identified pair in parallel, hook up to 110v and it should run, if it is connected the way I think it is, reverse one pair to reverse direction. If it is not super high reduction, you may be able to turn the output shaft and count the motor turns to get the ratio. Al.
