The best way is software. In hardware, Kerf Crossing can be detect with peak follower. During crossing the kerf, arc voltage make a peak. However the duration depends on your cutting speed. Variable delayed response can be used. Another best way is to use Capacitive Sensor to stop diving during kerf crossing. You can find more information at www.agelkom.com.tr
