| The unit I got off ebay many months ago looks just like this one and contained three ST DG-D200S stepper driver modules and a PC 12V power supply. The workmanship not the greatest, but the unit did work to drive motors using Mach2 software. I didn't like the way the box was done so I repackaged the modules in a large PC chassis and increaed the PS to 24V. I'm getting around 30 IPM using NEMA 23 motors and 20TPI screws. That's not bad, but I'd still like to go faster and will probably up the voltage to 40, which is the limit of the ST modules. These modules are full or half step, not microstep. The modules are nice, but I'm not sure if you can buy them anymore - at least I haven't found any via web searching. I can locate lots of links to the product data sheet, but have not found a source where I can buy them. the data sheet is located at: http://www.st.com/stonline/books/pdf/docs/2666.pdf --Colin-- |
