Webcam For Unatended Machining

Is anyone else using a webcam for unatended machining? Mine is

That's a good idea, are you running a repetitive production run on your machine? Do you have your system hooked up to a modem to control from other locations? Some of our machines can be controlled from remote locations, but we have no cameras installed......

We do mold work, So some of the runs can be long. I like to use it just to see if the tool changer has jambed or if the cycle is done. That way I know I need to go back to the shop. I often go back to the shop and do another set up, but I hate to guess at the cycle time and be off an hour and get back to the shop to soon. No remote control of the machine. That would be nice! with a pallet system.
I'd like to make it a streaming video but I'll need some differant software for that.

I have a camera mounted in my enclosure, but I have to get a home network up so that I can get it to the web.
