Has any one ever tried to use a brushless RC motor as a spindle motor? I was looking into buying this motor: http://www.e-fliterc.com/Products/Te...odID=EFLM4160A It seems like a really good deal. Small and powerful. Running it at 32 volts with 235 rpm per volt is a max speed of 7,520. It also has a max power of 2700 watts or about 2.5 HP. Is this a good idea? If not what are you using as your spindle motor? |
