| Hi, The specifications you have given for the stepper motor will work well but knowing the holding torque is necessary to know if they are up to the task you plan to put them to. The driver board you linked to is a 3 axes board so you only need one. You will need to run the steppers at higher voltage than the name plate value (usually up to 20-25 times) to get any useful speed out of them so you will also require the chopper board mentioned on the link As for a power supply; there is loads of information on how to build an unregulated linear power supply or you could just use PC power supplies as described at the very top of this forum. It all can be a bit overwhelming to start; just take one thing at a time and you will get there in the end. Good luck, John |

| Hi again, The limit on Mach 3 is per job; no limit on jobs. I recommend you take a look at Turbocnc from www.dakeng.com/turbo.html it’s a dos program but very easy to use and is free. I’ve used it for a long time now and see no reason to change to Mach 3. Have a look and if you need any info take a look at the forum on the zone. Can’t help you with the stepper you will have to keep searching. Where did you get them from? John |
