hello i have been reading the thread about hacking a printer to make a PCB, very nice thread, maybe i can make one someday however there are is another method i thought of and i am supreised it was never mentioned here just place a waterproof pen with very fine tip (there are tips now smaller than 1 mm) and just use your router to draw the pcb directly to the copper, then etch normally i have mentioned this idea to one of my friends and he said it yield GREAT results. i am supposed to get pics from him soon anyone intersted to try it and tell us what is the best setup/pens works for him |

| If you go to Yahoo group "Homebrew_PCBs" http://tech.groups.yahoo.com/group/H...guid=170201797 Do a search on pen plotters and you will find many who have tried this before. It does work but it is reported to be slow and does not have small enough resolution. |
