| Hi there everyone Just wondering if anybody has used gecko 203vampires with a candcnc mini i\o board. Or is there a better board for the Vampires?Its for a 40"x48" gantry router (all steel and aluminum construction) for routing guitar parts,violin carved bodies etc. 51 volts at cap,500 oz nema 23`s,3\4" ballscrews etc,etc. thanks for any replies Gerard. |

I can't help you on the Vampires because I am not using Geckos (yet). But I have built two controllers using the CandCNC mini-IO boards and they work very nicely. I am running EMC2 and using Slosyn SS2000MD4 drivers at the moment. They max out at 40v and 4 amps. If you call Tom at CandCNC, he might be able to tell you how many people are using 203Vs at the moment. I don't know for sure, but he has been very helpful to me. Good luck. Alan
