Lightbulb Optical Encoder Differential Line Driver

I'm setting up a Rutex servo system so I have the option of TTL or Differential encoder inputs.

Having only TTL encoders at the moment I thought I would try and make a convertor. (I'm paranoid about noise)

I figure if I mount this in a little guy at the encoder it may do the trick.

Since the 26LS31 is quad I killed 2 birds with one stone and made an extra output for a future DRO I'm dreaming of.

Any suggestions? Think it will work?
Is this a good thing to use on other circuits if I make a receiver?

    It looks OK.
Just check if your encoder output can drive 2 26LS31 inputs. I used similiar setup in the past, but had to put additional driver.
