Weeeee , I got my Tek2215 Oscope.... but | | I got the oscope but the 1x-10x leads are still in the mail somewhere and I wonder if it is possible to buy some bnc connectors and some coaxial cable and improvise a probe.
This is my first time with an oscilloscope so if you have any Do's and NoNo's this is the time.
I have a LM555 setup as pulse generator and it will be my first testing subject.
Thank you.
Konstantin.
P.S.
Well after playing with the oscope for a while I understood that I am a total noob and have no knowledge about how to operate it.
If anyone used the Tek2215 oscope please provide step by step instructions, like turn this, turn that, adjust here and so and so because I am lost here. Just to get me started with the LM555.
I have downloaded the Tek2215A User manual and Service manual and hopefully 2215 and 2215A are very similar units.
