I plan on getting a shopmaster and turning it into CNC. My knowledge is limited in making my own control box so I was thinking of getting a control box from DenverCNC , which is based on Xylotex control boards, and was wondering if the motor 344-1053-SB would be a good choice. Shopmaster's kit only uses 500oz motors because they have a 3:1 reduction. Would it be better to get the 720 motors if I wanted more speed or which motors would be faster? Also which ones would cause less heat? Would these motors even work with the control box? Any thoughts appreciated. |
